I slipped and it was the best thing

I slipped last night and I had 4 puffs. Half a smoke. And mmm - it was OK. not mind-blowing. Then, I woke up this morning with this throat. OMW - never again. You can't believe how it damaged my throat, which is now so sore. It is raw. I was 35 days smokefree. It's the best thing I could have done, because now when I think I am getting cravings I will remember the after-effect of even a few puffs. And it really wasn't worth it. I am not counting over because I still consider myself a non-smoker, only now I am a steadfast non-smoker. I know the pangs aren't going to worry me as much now.

I think about just one more.It has been 18 weeks for me. Thank you for your story, it has given me the strength to go another day
