Kill the smoker within yourself...

Hi everyone,
I am on day 11 since I quit smoking... I know it's not that long, but I'd like to share how I did it.
On the night I decided to quit, I collected the tobacco from my remaining cigarettes (except one, my last cigarette!) and put it on a small bowl. Then I wrote a note 'I am a smoker'.
I went outside with my last cigarette, bowl and note and I lit the cigarette. While smoking, I imagined the smoker as a separate 'entity' from me - I looked at it with my eyes of my imagination (he was very ugly, skinny to the bones, with grey skin, always evilly laughing and smoking) and told him "thank you very much, I am grateful of you because you showed me how precious my body and health are, but it is now time for you to go away from my life"
In the same time I increased my awareness of what my body was feeling everytime I was smoking.
When I finished my last cigarette, I burned the note "I am a smoker" and threw the burning note into the bowl with the remaining tobacco - don't expect a big fire: tobacco doesn't burn lively, but it will release a smoke in the air. I looked at the smoke and thought "This is the smoker dying and going away from my life."
After this ritual, I didn't touch a cigarette so far. But I still get cravings and everytime I get one I was able to get over it by thinking "the cravings are body needs for nicotine - those will go away. The smoker is now dead, he can't give you pointless excuses to smoke another cigarette anymore"
So far it has worked for me. I hope it will help you all :)

Well done Gianluca, Sounds like you've got a pretty good plab of attack happenning. Giving up smoking is all about mind control and will power,so it looks like you've got a pretty good plan going on..
Good luck and all the best :)
