Well I'm back

Hi all I was doing so well 10 months smoke free via cold turkey in Australia. I am now looking at finding the strength and will power to start again. Trust me it aint easy quiting here but There are no excuses i admit my addiction is back again. Honesty is the best policy. Time to get back in the right head space again.

Fboy, hope it all goes well for your next attempt. It's the psychological addiction that brings us down. Stay strong and good luck!

I am getting help from Allen Carr's book Easy Way to Stop Smoking and Joel Spitzer's website WhyQuit.com. Both recommend cold turkey. Why is it harder quitting here than anywhere else?
Hey Freakboy. You've done it once, you can do it again. You were supporting me 8 months ago when I first quit. I'll support you now. Just don't put a cancer stick in your mouth. Just don't!

you are being sucked back into the brainwashing stage... dont feed the monster. say to yourself
- i have the power over my life
- this monster is not my boss
- freedom is the key
when you ahve your smoke, think?
- it acually tastes bad
- the smell is awful
- who am i kidding, this drug addiction is not what ui want.
name it by its reall name, a drug addiction because the stigma of the name will hopfully sink in and show the truth.

It would help me ward off risk of backsliding to know what triggered you to start smoking again after 10 months smokefree. Maybe it might help you too to analyse and articulate this. Best wishes for your next quit attempt.
