"""money""

my quit started 2 days ago ,normally i would call into shops after work to get a packet of cigs (just in case i run out) so instead i put 20.00 into a glass jar where i can see it grow !!!!!!!! my goal is 400.00 so im on my way , ha ha , will keep you all posted.

You might be surprised how quick it adds up. I have been smoke free for 231 days and savings are $3811.
That alone is enough to make it all worthwhile

Wife and I were spending $150.00 average per week on smokes so we just put that in a wallet each week. A couple of weeks ago we had a new computer built and got a 24" LED screen to go with it, still have change left.
As far as we are concerned we got a free computer.

Go for it Mel. I am on smoke free day 8 after a pack a day for 40 years. Days 3, 4 and 5 were really hard. I was climbing the walls. Be prepared. Since then cravings still come on but milder and manageable. So my advice is to hunker down for the first week and tough it out knowing that it WILL get easier.

Ha Ha - You'll have that $400 before you know it. I'm up to 2700. And after 234 days, haven't smoked 5,000 cigarettes!
