On my way

Hey All,
I am on my way to quitting. I have tried before using patches, but they made me sick. I've also tried to quit cold turkey and it works for a little while. My quit periods range between a few days and 3 months, then I have some more than ordinary stress come my way and I end up falling back on smoking to help me. I would really like to get people's advice to help me. I have spoken to my doctor and have an appointment next week to try to help me. I really want to quit and I really want it to stick this time. I no longer enjoy it and really need to find new ways to manage my stress levels. Any help is appreciated.

you could ask your doctor to prescribe Champix - it's quite effective.

Hi Tiffany
I gave up using e cigs (if you want more info on it go and read my story). It's hard to give up so I know how you feel. Try and be strong it's a hard habit to kick!

I find the more active and busy I am seems to help. Also sucking mints, also, avoiding smoking friends, also not drinking alcohol, also, counselling. Good luck, above ideas are good too.
