248 days smoke free i dont like to brag but i am so proud of my self....I know like many others on here how hard it can be to quit. Will power and determination helps and keeping the hands busy and getting out of the old habit and creating a better one,I feel so good now when i get home i go for my walk and feel so much better where when i used to smoke i had every excuse possible not to go for a walk. The first 2-3 weeks of quitting is hard it does get better and easier. Now i hate the smell of cigarettes and yeh i wish they would STOP people from smoking near the doors at shopping centres it stinks and i shouldnt have to smell it,,,,Im sounding like a reformed smoker lol Good luck to everybody you can quit

I agree with you it STINKS!!! I can't believe that I am saying this after been a smoker for 21 years. I am surrounded by smokers at work and at home, and I am trying very hard not to complain because I was one of them just 4 months ago. But the smell bothers me so much, I am like a smoke detector and can smell it from far away or on people's hair, clothes...I am hoping that my family members will quit because it is great feeling to be free from addiction and I generally feel so much better and healthier. I changed my lifestyle without even trying it, just started doing things that I enjoy, like running every night, drinking water, that one was weird I've had cravings for water! Quitting process was so weird for me because my body was craving for fresh air, water and fresh fruit...not for cigarettes! I know what people say about ex smokers, that we are the worst when it comes to quitting campaign, but they should know that we know the best how much better IS life without addiction. All the best freedom!

Brag all you like and congrats.... I'm feeling the same, smelling the foul smell of ciggies on others and thinking, that was me 100 days ago! So I'm bragging too ! Can't wait to get to 300 days !
