Since giving up I have been waking up around 2 or 3am every morning and then every hour after that. By 6am I am wide awake. I haven't had cravings or haven't even really thought about smokes but just can't sleep. Anyone else have that problem and if so how did you overcome it? Bought a yoga DVD today so hope that works cause I NEED SLEEP!!!! Been 11 days :(

Skye, it is the common problem when quitting. I've quit 3 months ago and still have some trouble sleeping, but not so much like in the 1st month. I found that taking valerian forte is helping or listening to the calming music on my ipod. Good luck and don't let this stop you in quitting smoking, because it will not last forever. Also remember that now when you are not smoking your body is not so tired as before and you will need less resting. All the best!

I've been through the same thing but its been 3 months for me and I was originally on Champix, i blamed them for the sleep thing. It didn't last long anyway, but I do feel for you, i too would wake up at 2 or 3 am and not be able to go to sleep, Good On You , keep away from the smokes and think about sheep or something !
