just wanted to say to all my quit smoking friends that recently my mother suffered a big stroke which has left her with a considerable amount of brain damage she will need full time care for the rest of her life she cant walk or shower her self or even swallow food and has to be fed through a tube directly in her stomach. so please i know you are all here to quit smoking so give it your best shot to give them up. we love our mother so much and wish she had not smoke and maybe she would live a normal life and not become a criple over night.
So sorry to hear about your mum. Terrifying. That's one of the reasons I gave up too. Hopefully it won't happen to me - 134 days today. Be strong, but remember to take some time out for yourself. It's very important you take care of yourself both mentally and physically. My prayers are with you and your family.
So sorry about your Mum !! I have given up four times previously & have now chosen 1 June to give up for good !!! Hope your Mum improves :(
