I'm guilty and ashamed of my weakness. 72 days smoke free and today I had about 6 puffs, which tasted horrible. Today is the 2nd anniversary of my daughters passing and up until today I have been strong. I guess I'm only human but I have to be stronger!

Hi Gayld. I can't imagine anything that would possibly be more painful than what you've gone through today. I don't think anyone is going to judge you for 6 puffs. God bless you!

Honey, all is good, if only six puffs you had, then you are doing fantastically well considering what you are going thru, I am so very proud of you, unlike you, I wasn't strong enough last time - and I certainly wasn't going thru the trauma you are, you give me strength, my quit day is in 3 days, love everyones' stories, it gives me hope and inspiration!!

Thanks for your kind thoughts everyone. I spent the day with my other 2 daughters and grand kids and that is where I got the smoke from...One of my daughters and her hubbie have taken it up again! After having those puffs I definitely do not want to smoke again...it tasted foul!!!!

Wishing all the new quitters and the old ones good luck and remember...YOU CAN DO IT!!

Hugsssss

Don't beat yourself up over a small slip and considering what memory the day brings I could understand if you smoked a whole packet!! Look after yourself and know that I'm thinking of you.

Gayld, my thoughts are with you. Take care and don't punish yourself.

Don't be so hard on yourself, it was a tough day! Just pick back up tomorrow after all it's not a race it's a marathon! Bless you
