Hi everyone

It's been a while since I last posted here. I'm 56 days smoke free and today started on the lowest dose of the patches. I have had the usual cravings, especially when I'm down in the dumps but so far have managed to ignore them. Have had a huge headache today but I don't know if it related to the reduction of the patch.
I have been keeping myself busy, busy, busy trying to help animal rescue groups; I mainly do it from home on the pc.
It is coming up to 2 years on the 27th May since my daughter passed away and I know I'm going to have a tough time but I won't have a cigarette or 2. I think I am strong enough now to resist....hope so anyway!
How is everyone else going on their journey? I've read a few stories but I'm not going back to read them all. To the older members I hope you have been strong and feeling the improvement in yourself.
I noticed some new members and I'd like too say hi and that you have a wonderful lot of people here that will support you. Good luck in your journey, you can do this if you want to!
Hugs to everyone xxx
Hi Gayld. Stay strong and don't let your guard down. Congratulations on 56 days! Remember you never thought you'd get this far. Well you have done a lot of hard work. Keep it up Gayld. We're here for you. xx

Well done Gayld, Wahoo that's fantastic.
Keep strong and stay focused.
extra hugs to you on the 27th May, Im sure your daughter is really proud of you as well :)

Thanks for the support everyone.I'm staying strong and I noticed yesterday I had to walk up a slight slope....normally I would have been puffing and panting and the heart would have been racing.....but I had none of those symptoms!!
I have rewarded myself (again)lol!! Not clothes this time but I have bought a dog from the pound. He is about 2 yrs old and looks like a Shitzu x Maltese. He is just adorable but I don't know what my other dogs and cats are going to think!! I'm hoping to pick him up on Wednesday after he has been desexed, chipped etc, etc!!
I hope everyone is staying strong and not having too hard of a time!!
hugs
