First day so far

First  day and so far so good. It has been about 18 hours(including sleep time) of not smoking.

My biggest worry at this stage is the constant itch where I put the patch on. At first it felt like it was burning so I swapped arms only to get the itchyness. It did calm down thank goodness and I'm so glad I left it on. Still along way to go, one hour at a time, but I do feel kind of good within myself.

The smoke demon is still tapping me on my shoulder but I'm still ingnoring it. Reading other peoples experiences has been invaluable to me so thank you everyone.

Pauly.

Great work so far buddy. Keep going. I didnt use patches but If they start to fall off or become annoying I have read on this site of people sticking them on their butts under their undies which seems to work. Day one of the rest of your life congratulations.

Good on you Pauly. We all know that smoke demon. Gets easier everyday.

I've done the butt thing, especially after the gym lol I don't recommend putting them on your lower back as I almost passed out when I put a patch there, had to take it off.

Congrats on beginning your quit journey Pauly! x

Yep, the patches make me itchy too but I make sure I rub vitamin e cream on when I take it off. I also use some tape to keep them on, pain in the butt! Remain positive and good luck!

hugs xx
