Day 4 and struggling

About 7:00pm on day 4 and I'm coping I think with the cravings(Patches must be working), but it is the depression that I feel is going to beat me. I won't go more into it as I don't think this is the forum for such negativity, and I'm hoping this will pass but it is not at a good stage. Anyway fingers crossed.
I'm learning so much from others experiences so thanks everyone who writes. Stay quit!!!!
Pauly.

Pauly hang in there buddy stay strong and fight everything that your addiction throws at you. You can do this.

Hey Pauly,
stay strong buddy.
Smoking is not going to solve anything, caving in is not going to make you feel better, if anything it will make you feel worse, because you'll have the guilt etc from giving in.
Get all the help you need to keep you strong and you can do this.
anyway buddy , good luck xoxox

hey pauly, things will get better, try and remember the reasons you want to quit and what's keeping you going. Also maybe try calling quitline for a chat? Remember we're all backing you :)
Hey Pauly. You have absolutely othing to lose by quitting. You're not giving up anything. You have everything to gain - money, health, time, freedom, self respect, the list goes on. I do know how you feel. I've been there too. Turn your negative thoughts around - be mindful of what you're thinking and flip it around. You can do it Pauly. It's the nicotine monsters - give them the bird, smile and keep busy!

Hi Pauly, I suffer from depression too and now that I have quit smoking I actually feel better, but then again I take anti depressants. Keep up the good work and positive attitude and I'm sure you will work through this.
hugs xx

Don't give up! I have smoked for 20 years (only 36) and just recently quit. I am on day 18 and getting through that first week was hard, but it has been SO worth it! Hang in there - tomorrow is a new day and remember it gets easier every day.

Hi Pauly - I figure it's mainly a tactile thing when we crave a smoke. I've figured out that if my hands are active and what's even better if they're wet or messy smoking is not even worth considering. I've degreased the car motor, washed and polished it, rotated tyres. Next I'm going to change the oil and plugs. I'm saving on smokes, on car servicing and enjoying having messy hands.
Best of all I'm a non smoker

LOL PallMall!! That's a great way to not smoke. Just keep your hands in grease 24/7 for the first 10 days. Love it.
