schedule 2 Mar 2012

Not been on here in AGES and had to look up my day count as lost count.  154 days so 155 tomorrow - That's 5 months and 2 days and wow what a milestone half a year will be.

All of you good folk on here, best wishes.  You will succeed if you want too.  It does get easier.  In fact I am starting to forget how manic I was at the start of my quit journey - but a look at old posts makes me remember (and laugh a bit).

So best of luck to you all - stickl with it and remember that just one is not ok if you want to stay stopped.  Play nice on the site.  I miss my old quit buddies and our rantings and ravings on here.   But I guess they too wuld have lost their day count by now also.

Cheers, W

Well done to you!

I already know what you mean about losing count and I'm only at day 62. I am also finding that I dont feel the need to be talking about how long it's been etc to get the propping up from friends and family, so im not constantly talking about it, and so Now what I'm noticing is people are asking "how's the non smoking going?" and I think they're expecting me to say "oh yeah I crashed and started again a few weeks back..."

But because I'm actually responding with "it's going really great! So much so that I am forgetting about it altogether most of the time!"

yay Winner. I have just logged on for first time in ages & here you are, ranting again. I miss all of that but life as we know it now is pretty good isn't it! Don't know about you but I feel so much calmer these days. Speak again one day.
