I am finding this so hard ...its killing me....I have given in twice today

go to the doctor and get on pills ,hypnotherapy(but theres a lot bad ones and not many good)no one will think bad of you for losing it .we all have lost it .But try and focus on what good this will do to you and how bad cigs .They will kill you at your own expense and make shareholders to companies rich and enjoy there lifestyles and they do not care one bit if you die or live as long as you smoked and bought there product.Its the worst drug in the world to quit and the one that governments allow to be legal due to the worlds rich having ownership and shares in them .Fight one dqay at a time ,go to the doctors and get on the pills like champex what ever it take for your sake and for your families sake.You caN DO IT LIKE SO MANY OF US HERE HAVE

Willpower and distraction! When you get the craving, you need the willpower to go and do something else (the distraction). The ultimate distraction for me is to go to bed. But you have to have the willpower before anything else ... just for a few seconds to overcome the craving long enough to distract yourself with something else.

Why don't you try downloading some audio from the internet. There are plenty on Utorrents (if you have Utorrents) or you can try the whyquit website audio lessons - I found them quite helpful.

Hi annedaley. If you've given in twice that means you must have given up twice, which is good that you keep trying. You know what I mean? Having a water bottle with you at all times is a great help & allen carrs book is fantastic. Have you gone back over some really old posts? Oct-Dec last year was when a group of us were all giving up on line here. Look up Winner, Meanie just to name a couple. Have a read when you're feeling like you're really struggling and if nothing else you should get a good laugh out of some of it.

Good luck and stay strong. Remember, you're not alone and it can be awful at the beginning but one day you'll realise you have thought less about having a smoke and so on.....
