After meals

Although I am not experiencing "withdrawal" per say, I do find that after meals I have that unfinished feeling which used to be when I reached for the smokes. I have countered these uneasy feelings by sucking on a fruit flavoured ice block (the type in plastic tubes). A couple of times I've had two, one after another, I think the Cola flavour is the most satisfying. I buy the no frills type at around $3.00 a pack of 24 - so far $6.00 worth but I've saved over $200.00 on cigarettes, so I'm pretty pleased with myself.

Hi there PallMall,

Not smoking is a new learned behaviour we are all trying so hard to learn, Old habits are hard to break. But by replacing the negative with positive has to help. It doesnt matter what we do, as long as it works and we don't smoke.

So well done to you, enjoy your ice blocks xoxoxo

like you I found that one and the first one in the morning the hardest, now I enjoy a cup of coffee without the smoke. A friend told me if you have a few almonds ,this helps as well, she had them when she had the desire for a smoke,by the time you have finished them, the desire has gone,I think because you are concetrating on chewing these, I have done it a few times in the early part

Oh mate, this is my biggest worry, what do I do after a meal?

A coffee? Sheet! I am trying not to think of these situations but I know this is the big problem. My plan is mint lollies as I really don't like em. Weird huh? but that's my plan.
