still not smoking

Hello all well today its been 4months since i quit that deadly habit and if i can you can too. I found that the first 3 weeks was the hardest and now sometimes i even forget that i gave up , sometimes i will get a craving and think its time for a smoke and then i think oh hang on i don,t smoke anymore , its amazing how your brain play,s tricks. But its the best thing i ever did and the worst thing i ever started but thats it no more. Sometimes i amagine im lighting up a smoke and remember how it made me feel like s--- when i lit up and think no way never again. So to all that are thinking of giving up just do it you will feel better and save a lot of money and probably save your life. Last year at the age of 49 i had a heart attack so thats when i gave them away maybe if i didnt smoke it wouldn,t have happened ?? who knows im just glad i didnt die. The nurses at the hospital said that if i would have had the blockage in the artery in my heart in a different place i would most likely have died but i was given a second chance so i grabbed it with both hands.

Well done heart rehab! And good on you for making the most of a scary situation x
Fabulous to hear from a long timer. Congratulations on 4 mths. I'm on day 60 tomoro and hoping to start feeling better. Please keep posting - we can do with encouragement from those that have successfully quit.

Congratulations Heart Rehab, you are doing really well. And yes it the best thing we can all do. Im feeling good and it's only 9 day and $120 in my pocket, well not really my daughter (14) just got her first job so I had to get her prepared for that. So without that money I would have been stuck. Well done xxoxox
