Smoking Kills

Hi Guys,
This is my day 2 and I feel much better just by thinking that I can be a non smoker. I have been smoking since last 10 yrs and this is my second try to quit. Last time i tried quitting I was not so dedicated. But this time I am very much dedicated and want to tell my self that I can do what I want to. It is my body and I need to take care of it.
I have been using patches. Since yesterday I was feeling fine but today I have some chest pain. I dont know if it is a chest pain or gas or even it is becz i have been not smoking. Please share your stories if you have had the same exp while quitting. I have been getting cravings but it is not so bad as i had though it wud be.
Please share your exp.

Hi Malav,
Congrats on making Day 2 :-) Good positive thoughts you have instilled in your mind. It will help you through your journey.
I hope the patches work well for you! I have not tried them myself but have heard positive stories about them.
No good about the chest pain. If you're worried then maybe you should see a doctor.
I am just about finished my Day 1 of not smoking. I am doing it cold turkey. I have been and will continue to post up stories about my experience if you're interested.

GOOD ON YOU MALAV!!! I hope I can hear from you againg saying youve had another smoke free day!! Im only a "newbie", its only my 5th day!! Im 28 have been smoking since I was about 13 or 14!! (rebelious little thing I was)
In regards to your chest pain, on my 3rd day, I had what were like chest pains but I think for me it was just my brain, telling my lungs "where the heck is my nicotine??" The best I could do was just breathe it out!!
Im so so bad wanting 1 right now, hence the reason I sit here & type such a long answer!! haha
You can do it!!! Hang in there mate
