not sleeping

I am pleased to say im on day 8. I am dealing with cravings by eating. But thats better than smoking. I am having problems sleeping. Is this a normal withdrawal and also how long until i get some sleep? I am still in the process of retraining the brain to deal with stresses instead of reaching for that smoke. Its all about finding another coping mechanism. Also i have a sore mouth. Like ulcers. Is that also a common sign? All the best to everyone out there giving up smoking. Its a long hard journey but im determined.

Hi Deb. I am on day 93 now and I suffered the same as you with the mouth ulcers/soreness and little sleep but it gradually settled down. Hang in there its all worth the effort.

Wow day 93 sounds so good. Today went great. Just had the odd craving after eating. Im pleased to hear you say the sleeping and mouth will get better.

Hi deb I'm on day 37. I got mouth ulcers as well which was weird as I used to be the only one in my family that never got them or cold sores. I put it down to an over production of saliva due to not sucking on the cigs. Am all good now though.

Whoops actually on day 38. Life is good.
