58 Days Smoke Free
The 50s have been really hard. I'm starting to feel a bit better - not bombarded with thoughts of "just one" today. Also been really busy so that helps. You have to remember to find a replacement "friend" BEFORE you quit. Something I didn't do and wish I had. Try chewing gum, drinking water, etc. One thing that did work and still works is telling myself every time I have a craving "yippee I'm a non-smoker" I make sure I'm smiling as I say it/think it so i really feel happy about it rather than torture myself with thoughts of "I really want a cigarette". Geez just typing that makes me feel awful so yippee I'm a non smoker - that's better! Read Alan Carrs Easyway to stop smoking for a de-brainwash - really helped me and still is. Yippee!!!

Hi NowaNonSmoker,
day 59 now for you. well done! What a great feeling it is to get this far and still be a non smoker.
It gives you power to soldier on, stronger and more powerful than before.
I think all this gives you so more confidence in life, cos if we can beat the fags , well then we can pretty much take on the world and all it's stress's.
Your on fire, You rock,You are the non smoking legend.
stay strong and just keep going, we'll be hitting day 100 before you know it.
