One day at a time. just say to yourself, 'Today I will not smoke' Before you know it you will have stopped for 12 years like me. Also, have some activities lined up and when you are going nuts go and do them, things like cleaning out cupboards, gardening, some craft activiities. It does get better and you will feel so much better for giving it away.

Yes it's amazing the things I have accomplished around the house, fridges cleaned out, linen closet is colour co-ordinated and under the beds are dust free. Usually whilst doing these jobs I used having a ciggie as having a break, now the job just gets done all in one hit.
