Smoking Patches

I have stopped smoking for 8 weeks now on the nicabate 21mg patches, as of 1st Jan 2012 the 14mg and 7 mg 24 hour patches have been added to the pbs, i want to vent my disgust that you are only allowed 3 scripts in one calender year from the date you fill your first script,
I find this an utter joke and feel the government don't want you to give up and lose huge amounts of taxes, we see all the government funded adds saying quit etc.
So instead of getting 28 patches for $35 now i have to buy patches over the counter in 7 day lots at about $28 per 7 times that by 4 for the monthly cost. What a joke i say

hi i totally agree with you
$28 for 7 patches, thats over $120 for 28 patches, it was cheaper when i was smoking,
thanks for the input

It might cost more for the patches but think in the long term. Patches arent forever they are only for 4/5 months where as smoking is long term. And you cant really say you were only spending $30 a week on smokes. Why dont you look at getting the 14 packs which work out cheaper
