Happy New Year 101 Days - Never would have believed it

Hi All

Well old Winner has been ery quiet on here, I think my last post was December 19 or something like that.  And to think in the early days I was lost without this site and seeing how everyone was getting on.

I notice there are a lot of new people on here.  Best of luck to you all and hang in there and use one another for support.

101 days, I am ceasing counting now - or might talk about it in months moving forward.  But wow what a ride.  Been smoke free for over a quarter of a year - who would have thought it.

I wanted to say a bit heartfelt thank you to all of those people who helped with my journey on here and kept me on the straight and narrow.  Firegod, BlueSuzi, JoC, Kathyrose, Rocky-Rush, Meanie and of course Tiger74.  What winners we all are and what a blessing you guys were to me.

I hope everyone has a fantastic and healthy and smoke free 2012.  I am still in shock at myself for sticking at it.  I never thought it would get easier.  I never thought I would enjoy a visit to the pub again, I never thought I would deal with stress or problems again.  But smoking never helped any of those things! 

It did get easier and I shall not ever have a puff again.  HOORAY!!!!!!!!!
