I got strength from watching others standing in the rain smoking, standing outside of restaurants in the cold and observed just how uncool it really was to smoke.Smokers whole day is worked around smoking and i also went outside with them at work and this made me stronger by observing how they had a bitter look on their face and their face went red when they had a smoke and it just made me realise how silly the whole thing is.I feel so much better and yes i have put on some weight and now i will work on that but it is much easier than having the risks associated with smoking and i don,t get the funny little chest flutters i had or smokers have when they smoke.

I couldn't agree more, i thought it was just me, although i would stop smoking every year for a month or so, i would never stay stopped until this time! This time it's for good....
But i just can't help my self when i observe others smoking now, and you pose a few really good examples, what about when it's 30+ degrees outside and people are sweating and sparking up at the same time, i'm with you, it definitely makes me stronger but it also irks me when i see people smoking today, i mean don't they realise they are among the minority, today, less than 20% of the population smoke today!
I'm with you Dooley it is so UNCOOL TO SMOKE.
Truly though every day i think of ways that i can try to help people to stop smoking!
I know it' hard to stop but for myself i have realised just how much harder it was to smoke in the first place.
