Hi,i smoked 70-YES 70,a day,if i was awake,i had a ciggy in my mouth,I tried cutting down and i really enjoyed the 3 or 4 smokes a day.
I then reasoned that i must give my body the 'FIX" it needed but do it in such a way that it was 'NASTY"
So,i bought a tin of cheap little cigars and every time i needeed a 'HIT" i lit one up and took about 3 deep puffs.
This sat me on my backside and tasted terrible but the body had its shot of nicotine.
Every time i needed another "HIT",i lit the same cigar up and took another 3 puffs with the same unpleasant result.
After about 3 weeks,as the time between HITS became less frequent,i was able to quit completely.
I believe the trick is to give your body the nicotime hits it craves for but DONT ENJOY IT.
Worked for me-now off for 18 years

So you have been off the ciggies 18 yrs??? If so that is great. Everyone has a different way of quitting, if training your body over 3 weeks to cut down worked for you then that's great.

Dr Feelgood, you are the idiot! Its whatever works for each individual, if it got vk2dj through their withdrawals and helped them to quit smoking then so be it.
You need to stop acting like your perfect and that your opinion is highly valued on here cos your 2 bob aint worth shit!!
