A Quick One - Yay for Dad

This is a very quick post because Tiger told me I had to write something everyday.  LOL!

No, that is not true - my main motivation for quitting was my dad's health and seeing him post open heart surgery in Coronary ICQ (was not pretty) and I have a picture I snuck to prove it.  That picture was also my motivator during the early weeks if I got a bad craving.  I would look at it and say remember you promised if dad got better you would stop and you promised yourself that based on dodgy family history for your own health to stop.  And you promised that by giving up now would mean you gave up at least 15 years earlier than dad had.  And, and, and..... (I was making lots of promises at the time).

Well, guess what I was speaking to mum last night, having visited a couple of weeks ago and seeing dads improvement.  A visit to the cardiologist yesterday has resulted in him saying that dad is doing EXCELLENT.  Go you Legend!  So today, Winner is a happy (and smoke free) man!
