7 Weeks = 49 Days = HOORAY!

Sorry folks, I just want to say it again - 7 weeks!  49 days, which means tomorrow is 50 days without a single solitary puff - without a patch, without an inhaler, without medication.

Ok it has been with, a lot of agitation, anxiety, sleplessness, not feeling well, frustartion and too much food but even that has passed. 

As you know my post, titled 'Tough Times and Mind Sets' was my epiphany (I do love that word) and truly I think for me it was.  My verbal tirade of epic proportions tying everything back to not smoking and then realising it all had nothing to do with not smoking was my turning point.

So now - I am TRULY happy with my accomplishment to date, 49 days, 7 weeks nothing!  And last night with a friend who was smoking NOTHING!  Didn't want it, didn't hate the smell, didn't mind sitting outside with her, just NOTHING!!

This site and forum has been my saviour more times than I care to admit, it has felt like a little safe haven with my friends.  And I do think of you all as friends, so THANK YOU!

Those two words do not seem enough, but not sure what else to say.  Today I am going to celebrate with a Friday lunch and drinks with the neighbours this evening after work.  I want you all to share in the celebration so at some point today, have a beer and say if Winner can do it, I can.  You know why?  Because truly if I can do it ANYONE can. 

49 days, 7 weeks, 49 days, 7 weeks, 49 days, 7 weeks 50 days tomorrow..........
