Folks, I have tried a squillion times to give up - lasted at most 2 days.  I done patches, gum, hypnotherapy, accupuncture, willpower - you name it.  Then I met the inhaler - OMG what a product.  This thing actually works.  I am now 2 weeks without smoking a complete record - no major anxiety attacks - it works!  Yay!  Give it a go.

One more comment - I have been smoking over 20 cigarettes a day for 33 years. When I think about the money I have burnt and the state my innards must be in - I am horrified. Finally I am on the road to recovery.

Eric, other people have to do this the way that works best for them. You cannot sound preachy or judgemental. This is about support and encouragement. We all have to start somewhere, and for some that means NRT.

congrats friesha its easier to drop the inhalor later and also has less health complications from taking in just nicotine so its definatly worth celebrating your two week mark xx
