ICU Was My Rehabilitation!

Well, quitting was forced upon me... When you are in the ICU there is no way you can smoke. I mean you are basically on a bed in which all your daily needs i.e. showering, eating, everything is done whilst you are on the bed. Smoking wasn't an option. I am worried that when I am discharged from hospital I will have a strong urge to smoke again. I was not in the ICU with any smoke related issues. Then again, if I hadn't smoked for the last 40+ years I may not have ended up in the ICU...Who knows. The positives are nine days smoke free...with the help of nicotine patches supplied by the hospital. A good start, and I don't want to restart.
