The $ amount I'm spending is beyond stupid and am so annoyed with myself,so have decided to stop. 50 years old and been smoking since age 12. Health is a big motivator too, can't get away with it forever so need a whole routine change which I think will be my biggest hurdle. Step 1 is do a walk on waking up instaed of straight to coffee and a few smokes.

Have people found NRT helpful? Am thinking the inhaler or spray may help. Best of luck to all.

Health is so, so important in this life. It's easy to forget exactly how important it is. Quitting smoking is a whole lifestyle change. $. It sounds like you know where to start however- and now it's about putting the plan into action. In the iCanQuit booklet, it recommends a shower upon waking.

NRT is helpful for me because it helps fill in the cravings. I use 4mg lozenges.

Love the routine change, hopefully you're sticking with it!

Many people find NRT helpful,it can make the transition a little easier. It's worth exploring the options that feel right for you - the most important thing is using them correctly and using combos can really help too - some good info here on that: https://www.icanquit.com.au/ways-to-quit/nicotine-replacement-therapy-nrt/

Wishing you all the best on your quit journey! 🌟
