I do, I dont, I will, I wont....

Hello to you all,
Just joined today as part of my quitting process. 64 years old and had my first ciggie aged 13. Have given up a few times but it comes back and gets me.
I am on Zyban and patches and managing to get through each day. Very stressful situation at home with hubby having suffered a shoulder injury just a week ago. Not sure how or when that will resolve itself, but being self employed we have currently lost an income. I have a good job but it is a worry. So part of my motivation is to save money by not spending $350 a week on stupid cigarettes!!
I know I need to knuckle down, but probably not the easiest time to quit. Having to take on all the house and garden chores with renovations underway - not sure when they'll get finished now.
Day 4 - struggling a bit......

Hi @Nugget!
Welcome and thanks for sharing... sounds like you’ve got a lot on your plate right now!
Getting through these first few days while dealing all of that is no small feat - but the fact that you’re still going says you've got a fair bit of resolve there!
Saving $350 a week is a powerful motivator and something that can really build over time. For now, it’s okay to just focus on getting through each day one step at a time.

You certainly have the motivation to quit, but more importantly you WANT to quit. Equally important is that you join this site and are learning more about yourself and the addiction to nicotine. You will find advice in our stories and support in your quit.
Just seeing others succeed and can give you the crucial belief that you can also find your freedom from smoking.
