Set a stop date

I decided to stop on a public holiday as I thought it was easier than while at work. (Thursday)

I had a work from home day Friday - not very productive but managed to continue not to vape.

Keeping outdoors in nature for the weekend is my plan. And hitting the gym after work on Monday.

My goal is 7days. I want to hit the statistic of “people that stop for a week are 9x more likely to continue”

While keeping the goal of 7 days in mind, also remember the whys of why you made this choice to quit smoking. Once you have proven that you can do the hardest part, why give up trying only to have to do it over again?

DESIRING change and BELIEVING that you can achieve this are two critical factors.

One day at a time with positive thinking WILL get you there.

I hope that reading stories are further incentives for you.

We Can do what we put our minds to.

schedule 8 May 2024

2weeks free and string today. I am managing very well. This attempt I have gone cold turkey. - well no NRT. But plenty of distractions and the like. (Regular gum and mints, exercise, plenty of outdoor activity) I feel like I am in a good place.

I’ve had a floating idea of having a puff from a friend but I’m the urge isn’t strong. Not giving up trying to now to have to start over again!
