Time to quit

Started age 16 now 46 didn’t go a day without a cigarette in that time got up to about 25 a day. About to turn 47 and finding I’m getting shortness of breath. I decided to quit it’s been 3 days since my last one. Just found this site and the stories have been inspiring. Was using a vape but the stories about them don’t sound good going to quit them too. Have found patches are helping. Going to the pub now will be tough but going to give it a crack

I wish you luck in hope you can keep your resolve with liquor. Many have found that to be their downfall or simply use it a an excuse. Does liquor control us? Are we innocent then of DUI? Or is it really just an excuse?
I continued to play cards and go out on breaks with smoking buddies. I also quit smoking with my hubby smoking right beside me. It is up to you to simply make up your mind and follow through. Hubby and daughter quit shortly after I did when they saw me do it. None of us really "craved" like so many here seem to. We made up our minds that we were done with it and so we were. Smoking never did anything for us, and we finally at long last believed it. We have all been brainwashed for years!
See through the smoke and seek change. You will find it.
