Day 3, however day 1 was a challenge

Cravings will come and go for the rest of a smokers life both current and past. However my trick is to remind yourself of 3 reasons why you shouldn’t smoke. I was on my way home (Day 1) when I had to talk myself out of going to the shops and buying smokes. The feature on this member list stating how much you’ve saved is a great tool.

It is great that you are not giving up in obtaining the smoke free statue.

I am quit 4 years now and never crave a smoke. It is true that an urge might arise from time to time, but it is not a craving all the time like it seems you suggest. Once a year, a memory or dream or a smell might be a reminder of our past. A craving really is just a thought though, and it can go as quick as it came if we just let it. You do not live your life feeling like the first couple of weeks or months in the quitting process. It is this FEAR that stops so many from even trying or sticking it out.

We can quit smoking, even easily when we just get to the point where we accept that enought is ENOUGH. Make up your mind to take control back and reap the rewards!
