I think the next time you should get a craving you should not take yourself so seriously. Instead picture something that puts a smile on your face.

While we joked about Pisces turning the corner so quickly and forgetting to take the patch, someone put an image in my head that i will never forget. He said that she (Pisces) would have everyone ripping off their patches and throwing them in the air, just like bras in the womens liberation movement.

Well you have to admit it put a smile on your face if not totally annihilating any craving, let alone retain any though of giving in when you are running the victory lap!

Congrats on grasping the mindset and making it work for you. The battle truly is won in the mind!

You're my QUIT BUDDY Trying.

No one is happier than me you've quit.

How nice is it not to be creeping off for the hit.

Pride in ourselves

Smell nice with sweet breath

And HAPPY to get to this sweet place we thought was reserved for everyone one else except us.

2020 is our year. Would never have thought I would be in this happy place even 1 month ago.

Thanks to dedicated sweet caring friends like our Mentor and Earth Mother Happiness.

Thank you for your friendship.

.

Maybe we could have quit without you but we didnt know or believe we could quit, if not for you Happiness.🙋‍♀️🐟

That's worth being excited about!

schedule 6 Jan 2020

I'm excited too because Davegoodo is here. After 5 years of wanting to quit he is still here and hopefully stories like yours Trying will give Dave the belief that he too can quit smoking. He is a man of his word and said that he would stick around and read the posts. While he finds it difficult to make a promise to forever...he is willing to take things one day at a time. One day at a time, and as we learn in the process, hopefully we want to make it tomorrow as well. For those who procrastinate, tomorrow never comes....so Dave, maybe you are in luck. ....

Take things one at a time, for every single day gets you closer to your goal. A week, a month , a year....remember that you are in control. You can smoke if you want to. Who has stopped you in the past? Finding the want to quit smoking, the desire to better your life and that of your loved ones. You are worth it, and it is possible. What is stopping you? I thank you for trying my post "If you've Given up, Given Up. Try This!" . Perhaps you have, perhaps, you haven't. What's clear is that you despite how you might deny it, You have NOT given up giving up! That is definitely on the plus side!

Hi Trying. We all know how hard those first few seconds, minutes, hours and days are. If you have done that you will never want to relive that fear and agony. That is all in our head but very real. Power to you every minute.
