Grandmother in Canada. Smoked over 45 years and have been quit 6 months. (cold turkey) Health reasons for main incentive. Quit line most helpful.

From north coast nsw, Australia, smoked about 32 years, I am 49 but just about to turn 100 days, (smoke free).

From Oregon, United States. Mom of 3, step-mom to 4, grandma to 2, step-grandma to 4. Non-smoker for 6 months, as of tomorrow. Quit because of major surgery and 9 days in the hospital.

Congratulations to all three of you who took the time to respond. It was certainly nice to get to know one another and help one another and now 6 months later we are all doing well on our journey aboard the Freedom Train.
