Never stop quitting

Posted in Getting started
schedule 7 Mar 2019

I have been smoking on and off for 15 years. I am almost 32. Some days I have 2 cigarettes, other days can smoke over a pack (I drink too much too - major trigger).

I stopped my entire pregnancy but they've crept back in. Firstly when drinking, now it's everyday. I haven't put in a proper quit attempt but I'm now undertaking part of a university study on two quit smoking aids and I am on day 2 of champix, with a quit date of 13th March. I'm feeling pretty good about it, although I have already had the crazy dreams and that was from just one pill! I have a 2-year-old, I love running and fitness, I have plenty of reasons to quit. I'm determined this will be the last go. Wish me luck!

Lots of information here and so much on the net, here's another site where you can find so much health info along with personal stories and conversations that may assist you.

this is backed by a very trustworthy medical community in the US.

Your fortunate that you have several past times to distract you, running and your 2 year old, which you will enjoy a much better life with you, as you become a non smoker.
