Well im on day 27. Still smoking, not as much but what ive realised since day 5, is its all in my head. Ive had absolutely no cravings to smoke but its a habit, that i dont how to break. Ive read all the success stories and think WTF. Is wrong with me. Its all in my head, and i dont know how to deal with my thoughts. Smoking since 13 so 32 years. Half my brain dry reaches when i have smoke but other half stops me from putting out. Have no cravings so thank champix for that. Honestly was waiting for the miracle to stop as per all the reviews . Ummmm rubbish. Maybe im not ready. Time will tell

Hi Shannon you are right the biggest hurdle to quit smoking I reckon is the habit that forms about 70-80% of the addiction the rest is the addiction to nicotine. The hardest part is retraining yourself to get away from the habit and FYI not everyone has a light bulb moment or any miracle, some of us just got fed up with the expense and wanted to put them down before they put us down. I wish you all the best in your quit but personally I think if you are waiting to be ready that day might not come. It's good to quit whilst it's your choice😊

The miracle you are looking for has already started, you have chosen to give up. Every day you say no to smoking is a miracle of your own making. Its not easy, but you can succeed, just take a day at a time and one day you will look back and say to yourself I've made it this far, 1 month, 2 then 3, others have succeeded and so can we.
