I need help

im asking anyone to help me. Im giving up in one weeks time. Ive smoked all my life 37 years. ive tried to give it away
over short bursts for the last 16 years Ive only smoked 1mg so
whenI go on the patches or Champix its too strong and makes me really sick in the stomach. I mean vomiting stage. Severe overdose I call it. can I start on step 3 rather than step 1? Only 7mg instead of 21mg. and will it have the same effect to help me get thru it? and how long can I continue step 3?

Sounds like a plan to me. I am on the patches but think it's fair enough to start on the 1mg patches if you were on light cigs. Go for it. Stay on them for a few months. That's what I plan to do. You can do it

Hi Vicki
I would recommend you try the champix but don’t try them without visiting your GP and having him prescribe a really strong anti-nausea pill for you.
The champix will for sure work but the nausea will only last for a month.

Just Vicki if it makes you sick that’s the key to giving up , keep thinking it’s making you sick because it is go cold turkey place 6 cigarette butts in a tin , carry it with you every time you feel you want a cigarette open the tin and have a good wiff put the lid back on keep training your thoughts on how much it’s harming you and how nice you and your clothes smell and how clean your mouth feels Fight the urge when they come as they don’t last long , don’t forget the tin , you will feel fantastic go for it , not smoking is much better than what you think !

I'm on the champix, and it was making me a bit...... weird I suppose is a good way to put it, so I reduced the intake to one pill a day and by chopping the pill in half I could still have 2 doses, you can get a pill cutter from the chemist, I tried patches but the adhesive made me itchy.

Eat a full meal with champix that really helps me and I don't feel sick at all. Never have from champix.
Champix does for 7 days is 0.5mg after 7 days goes to 1.0mg
