Emotions??

So yesterday was Day 1 of not smoking or nicotine. I did pretty good not think about it. I had used the patch to taper down the week before and I think that helped.
BUT I had a bit of an emotional breakdown and ugly cried and felt really irrational and emotional. I think my boyfriend was super confused. I am sitting at work today and feel like I might start crying and I am feeling some depression. I am wondering if something is wrong with me?? Is this smoking related??

it will have you feeling emotional at times for sure...it will play all types of tricks to get you to give in! you need to stay strong!!! i've had two such days... i had good cries...just small stuff, but it can feel so huge at that moment! you will over come it..hang in...it's worth it! the cravings will be less frequent..and less intense!

Welcome aw13 yes what you ate experiencing is normal, your just going through withdrawels. Just remember whatever you are feeling a cigarette is not going to fix anything and will only leave you feeling disappointed in yourself. Good luck and stay strong. Try to find a new hobby to keep busy and when cravings come along just push them out of your mind, find a distraction don't contemplate smoking. Keep reminding yourself also of your reasons for quitting, you can do this!!
