Taking Desmoxan

Have been taking Desmoxan for nearly a week now - my quit date should of been today (3 September 2018) but am finding it difficult to completely stop (have cut down from 10 cigarettes a day to now 3-4).
Is anyone else taking Desmoxan - would love to hear your stories!
Thanks.

I’m not on your medication, am taking Champix which I have to say I cut down immensely the first week from 15 to 7 then down to 2 or 3 by the Sunday I only had 1. Today I’ve had zero, my first day. Am also reading Alan Carr’s Easy way to quit smoking. It’s a superb nook and only $10 to download. I was a skeptic but am finding it helpful. Don’t stop trying to quit, you can do it and you’re stronger than you think. 3-4 ciggies a day - YOURE DOING 👍 GREAT. Don’t be hard on yourself. It’s not a race, as long as you don’t loose the urge to quit. 😀😀😀

You've done really well to get to only 3 or 4 cigarettes. You're on your way to quitting completely. I cut down for a few weeks and also reduced the strength I was smoking before I quit cold turkey. Worked for me. Keep trying, your determination will get you there.

I started Desmoxan today. I don’t really know a lot about it so I am interested in hearing how you go with it!
I have taken champix twice in the past and it doesn’t seem to have the same side effects so far 🤞🏻. My quit date is supposed to be next week, so here’s hoping it works

I am nearly finished the course of Desmoxan - they are fantastic tablets.
The only side effects I had was the first couple of days with dizziness - after that nothing else - I didn't even feel like a cigarette when I completely stopped smoking about 5 days into taking Desmoxan.
It definately does work - I have no willpower whatsoever and I have been smokefree now for just over a week - let me know how your journey is going - we can help each other out.
Good luck!!!

That’s awesome. Definitely agree that Desmoxan is fantastic. Little to no side effects. Just fatigued for no reason, exercising is like running through quick sand. But haven’t had a cigarette for 10 days now!! Let’s hope we can stay off them once the tablets are done!
