Here I am at day 6, not very far into it, I know, but I'm coping pretty good so far & whenever a craving comes along I dont even entertain the idea of lighting up for a second. I think NO, no more I'm so done with smoking. We all need to start somewhere & im already feeling free because I've decided to take th power back!!

Good work and great to hear you are done with smoking cravings can be managed in a lot of ways but just take it one day at a time and feel free from smoking you are still i think in the early stages of withdrawal/cravings but if you can just hang in there and never even think about cigarettes you'll come through great Good luck

Thank you webbquit, you are so right, it is early days, I'm trying to be super positive so that I dont even consider giving in. I will be happy to go back to work tomorrow as mornings & weekends are my harder points, I have cigarettes in the house too as my husband smokes. Because I dont smoke at work ever and I'm busy it's less on my mind. I will not cheat though, as past attempts has taught me that for me one tends to lead to caving, and I really really do not want to fail, so therefore I'm determined to use my willpower to stay strong!

Also at Day 6 here Leeann. I'm so glad we're coping up really well. My first 2 days were the hardest but now I'm slowly getting the hang of it. I like your last powerful words there "We've taken the power back". Let's get through this phase together.

Thanks Whiskey, it's pretty true though, those damn ciggies rob your money, decline your health & make you stink, there are no upsides it's all a lie it's not your friend it's just a putrid drug of addiction, I've so had enough, like we all have and it is our right to take the power back and say no more!!
