schedule 15 Mar 2018

15th day of no smoking. Following a terrible bout of pneumonia which required 2 puffers and antibiotics / I decided this was it. I was reminded of watching my dear mother using these late in her life from smoking. She died of emphysema. Not a very heavy smoker myself - but yes a smoker - and ashamed of my habit. So now - over the illness - and trying to modify my behaviours to stay smoke free. When the urge strikes - I repeat this phrase over and over again. YOUR DAYS OF SMOKING ARE OVER>>>THINK OF SOMETHING ELSE !! Then I turn my thoughts to my grandchildren and playing golf. I know the nicotine is out of my system so focusing on more activity modification. Stay tuned !!

Misspar, congratulations on your 15 days - if you can do 15, you can do 15 more and so on. Yes, your days of smoking are OVER, isn't it a great feeling. Think of all the extra days you will have with your precious grandchildren and all the fresh air you will breath in on the beautiful golf course! keep up the good work.
