schedule 16 Dec 2017

Well, after innumerable attempts to quit, I have only managed to go a number of days without smoking so today I went to the doctor and got a script for champix and have set a new quit date for a week's time. Thanks for those who have commented and advised me over the last few weeks.

Just don't put to much pressure on yourself...be positive about your journey.

You can do it.

Good for you Jellycake. I found the Champix really helped me. It took away the desire to have a cigarette. Importantly though, follow the directions on the pack as it states you have a tablet on a full stomach otherwise you will feel nausea which is not nice. I smoked for 40 years and have only just given up (19 days ago) using the Champix but you also need to have the right mindset (you really have to want to give up). You will know. All the best and look forward to hearing about your progress and journey.
