Well, here I am again! I have succeeded in quitting several times since my husband died ten weeks ago but I keep slipping up. Today I made a new quit date for tomorrow and have stocked my fridge and pantry with all sorts of good, healthy foods to distract myself from the smoking urge.

Hi Jelllycake. I am so sorry for your loss. You must be reeling. No nicotine will help ease the pain.Hope you can cancel out the nicotine from your life as it is not your friend. Do reach out to fellow quitters on this site.

Hi there Jellycakes I hope your feeling a bit better after spending some time out with your Mum you have got the right Idea I demolish a lot of good food since I give up, put on a few Kgs to Food tastes so much better than I knew it would I have a weakness for sweets too lol, all in moderation though I also do a few exercises to balance it out after Dinner of a night it also helps me sleep better, Hang in there you can do this One Day at a time, Cheers for now.
