Day 3, thanks to Alan Carr

Day 3 of not smoking, thanks to Alan Carr. I have the book on my phone and have been listening to it over and over until the message got through my thick head and to get over the fear of quitting.
I haven't finished listening to the book, and will probsbly keep it up for a few weeks to keep away the negative thoughts.
I feel free already - hasn't that addictive nicotine left my body already?
I'm 58 and have had a few goes at this. I can't fail this time, there is too much to live for.

Thanks Red. I refuse to have cravings. When the thought of having a smoke crosses my mind, instead of getting anxious, I laugh and think "thank goodness I don't have to do that any more"

Me too Will, My little mate Dexter is sitting right behind me in my pic too lol, and he's on my lap right now. Anyway, Hang in there Red it really does get a little bit better every day, just take it one day at a time and you will get there mate.Ron

Gday Weewiliam, I've heard a lot of good things about Alan Carrs Book Meditation and Relaxation are Keys for getting thru the tough days and enjoying the good days it's a good way to stay focused and get thru the tough stuff. We are always going to have a bad day from time to time but if you keep in mind that if you can keep your mind busy it's not thinking about having a smoke, try to do something that you will feel proud of each day and then reflect on it when you have achieved your goals tick them off, get on with another and you will find that you will be having more and more good days than bad and you have done something you will be proud of, Gone another day without a smoke. Hang in there buddy you can do it one day at a time and there are people out there that want to see you succeed, we're not going away and we will always be there for you just look for us before you go looking for a smoke and somehow we will help, just drop us a line and as soon as I can I will get back to you if someone else doesn't beat me to it. Ron
