I quit smoking when I found out I was pregnant with my son in 2001 Then when he was born 15 years ago then I started back up and I have smoked ever since. My husband also smokes he says if we wants to quit smoking we need to do it together so then it will be successful.( is this true??) Will we gain weight. What help to quit 🚭 smoking I want to do it once and for all please my husband has a very bad couch and it scares me that it is gonna get bad and he is only 43 yrs old. With a wife n 3 children. He is also a OTD so he drives 11 hours a day so he smokes a lot what can help distract him instead of smoking what can he do?

Hi Julie,

I really hope you guys decide to quit. My weight has only gone up or down within a 1 to 2 kilo range. I dreaded weight gain trust me but that can be sorted also. Easy for me to say but a little weight gain is nothing compared to all the diseases people can suffer from or be fatal. Drinking lots of water and choosing healthy snacks is all I can advise but allow a treat now and then. It's all about balance. I actually took up baking as a hobby when I quit to help distract myself. I make my own healthy treats and pin interest is my new best friend haha
