The first couple of weeks will be tough. Just make sure you get over one day at a time. Passing the first few days are crucial, it will give you confidence that will help you a lot in the future. Once you know you could go a day without cigs, then go for thhe second day, and third, and so on.. just remember, you will be having the worst by day 3. And just wait it out, the craving will pass. In my experience I replaced cigs with sugarfree mints.

Identify what triggers your cravings and be conscious to avoid them. For me I didnt drink for a couple of months. Until I tried drinking one day without smoking and then realized I could do it.

Keep it up!! Not one puff man, not one.

Huge congrats to you!! No huge tips here for you, beyond literally taking it one day at a time. Or one hour at a time. The cravings are much stronger early on, like labor pains. Lol. Just get through those few mins and you will find your way on the other side of the craving. You can do this! I am 44 days in....

Great work mate. I admire your strength at going cold turkey, know if you can do this you can do anything as your belief in yourself is amazing. Try to keep busy and go for a walk when the cravings hit. I chew on a toothpick and write stupid meaningless lists when the cravings hit

Hi No butts.....can offer you a couple tips that helped me early on with cravings.

(1) When you get a bad craving....gargle with listerine for 30 seconds.

(2) Dissolve 1 or 2 cloves slowly in your mouth.(tastes like you been to dentist).

Above methods keep your breath fresh and eliminate cravings for quite a while. Good luck.
