Hi Penelopejane, day 1 is always the hardest, but it's a huge achievement to get through it. I think every one of us has had the same issue with the first day. Hopefully this is now your second day, then it will be your third, and before you know it a whole week will have passed. For me, the last 3 weeks have flown by and I make sure I get on here each and every day for inspiration and motivation. It's a great platform for encouragement, giving and receiving. Sure, I might rant and rave at times (haven't so far) and even type utter drivel, but I find people are extremely supportive. We all have something in common, the dreaded addiction to nicotine...but we can beat it with support, encouragement, compassion and praise to strengthen our willpower!! If you slip, just start over. Don't ever beat yourself up about it....keep going for a healthier, happier you :)
