starting out

having another go. I have smoked since first working 44 years ago, we actually got real smoko breaks at work back then. 10 minutes every 2 hrs . no excuse now. I have given up before so I will do it again. hopefully not too many slip ups. I have lost my hubby of 37 yrs to cancer and nursed him through it. Now i have passed through the denial stage though smoking wasn't the direct cause, It certainly made it worse. I don't want my children to have to go through the same thing. Its not nice! So wish me strength and stamina to get through those triggers. Coffee in the mornings, stress of work deadlines, anger management ( not going out the back and using a couple of cigies to calm down, there are other methods. I will let you know how I'm going I've started the pre-quit and my quit date is 6th Dec

You can do it!! Sounds like you have the right motivation to bring this together. Good luck and stay strong

I'm sorry to hear about your hubby, that's really sad. Use this site to rant, rave, share your triumphs and your struggles. You will have your own personal motivation, remember it when you are having a challenging moment.
I wish you the best.

Best advice is to come back to this site to rant, rave, scream and yell. Trust us, we will hear you... Already, you have supporters prior to my response. Enjoy the support and the understanding and keep posting.
