One day at a time

Hi All
Well about to embark on my quit attempt again. Today was to be my first day, however I had run out of cigarettes late on Saturday and thought why not start (apparently you can gain an extra 5 yrs every day that you abstain from smoking) So into day 2, and truthfully it is not so bad. I have moments when I forget that I am not smoking and the urge throws me for a bit. How ever I changed my mindset to remember times where I am unable to smoke (ie. on a plane, cinema or restaurants) I never seem to crave or miss smoking in those environments, so gather it is all about my habit and not so much the addiction. As everyone states 'One day at a time'
